What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
Laughlin Ranch golf course is a step up from your typical desert course. This course offers a true test of golf for all ability levels. The first step of achieving that great score is to play the tees that suit your game. Laughlin Ranch offers guests 4 sets of tees from yardages of 4,985 to 7,155. The most important tip I can give to better play this course is to keep the ball in play. I know this one is easier said than done, but if you're able to accomplish this tip, it will go a long way in having that excellent score. No matter the final score or skill level, your golf experience at Laughlin Ranch is sure to take your breath away.
Recent Awards or What You Are Most Proud About The Course?
Laughlin Ranch Golf Club was recently voted 11th & 13th best in the state by Golf Digest & Golfweek. With several tee options and design differences of every hole, each time you play this course seems like your very first time.
What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Our most talked about hole would have to be #11 (Lookout) because of its extreme length & challenge. Boasting an outrageous 650 yards from the gold tees (tips), this uphill par 5 will challenge even the most experienced golfers. Achieving a par on your typical par 5 would be nothing to write home about, but this hole is the exception to the rule. Hit 2 great shots & you're still using a mid to long iron into this green. Get your par here & move on!
Our signature or most photographed hole would have to be #18 (Spirit Mountain) because of its sheer beauty and design. The tee boxes on this par 5 look downhill onto this beautifully designed hole which meanders around Laughlin Ranch Lake & backdrop of the large clubhouse. There is sure to be some excitement around this hole as well, with the closeness of the on-lookers from The Grill's outdoor patio. So don't choke under pressure and miss that 3 footer for birdie with everyone watching!
What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
My favorite hole has to be #12 (Blue Ridge) because it is nothing like your typical par 4. With an uphill blind tee shot & well protected green, this hole is sure to be a real challenge. Some players choose to go for it and break out driver; others choose to lay up with iron, but with desert arroyos all around the key to this hole is accuracy. The #12 hole is one of the most spectacular looking holes at Laughlin Ranch as well with its beautiful backdrop of the Black Hills & the continuous desert landscape; you'll feel like you're at your own desert oasis.
Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
The must have dish at The Grill would have to be the Laughlin Ranch signature burger. This 1/2 pound burger is accompanied with our new homemade bun made fresh every day and is delicious. Come in on Thursday nights & deck your burger out with up to 25 toppings and wash it down with one of our cold drafts. If the burger is not quite your style, The Grill offers an array of fine dining options as well as our freshly made pizzas. If you're looking for that perfect location of ambience, quality cuisine and friendly professional staff, then The Grill at Laughlin Ranch is the place for you.
